Some people may have the idea that the Open Source movement is mainly
populated by either university students that haven't experienced the real
world or long haired counter-culture proponents. While such an idea may be
stimulating to our imaginations, it is, in fact, wrong.
The Open Source movement is supported by many of the larger computer
manufacturers around the world such as
IBM,
HP,
Intel,
and many others.
